How the rink pages work

Each rink page shows Ellie and Max, the two kids in the book, in a scene at the real building, such as a snowball fight in Greenwich or street hockey in Bridgeport. The caption gives the rink's name and town.

A color-in map of Connecticut marks the rinks, and a rink passport in the back lets your child check off each one your family visits. Between the rink pages there is pond hockey, a backyard rink and some very silly hockey, including a dinosaur game and an octopus in goal.

Is your rink in the book?

If you spend your winters at a Connecticut rink that is not on this list, tell us which one. A Massachusetts edition is on the way.

Not Now Coloring is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any rink, team, league, school or town named here. For ice times and public skating, check each rink's own website.
